Mike Keefe (1983-2019)

Cirrus SR Specialist

Mike developed a passion for aviation in his early teens; at the age of eighteen he was a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor. Mike attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he earned a degree in Aeronautical Science, with a minor in business. While in college, he worked with a leading aircraft broker. From this experience, Mike gained a wealth of knowledge of a wide variety of general aviation aircraft. After college, Mike joined Cirrus Aircraft holding positions in Flight Operations, Flight Training and Sales. He is a Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP) and has accumulated over 5,000 hours in Cirrus Aircraft.

Mike passed away on February 2, 2019 after a battle with cancer. He left a hole in our hearts that will not be repaired or replaced. Mike was an incredible colleague, excellent salesman and devoted friend to so many of Aerista’s clients and friends. He will be sorely missed. In his honor, we ask that you consider donating to the aviation foundation founded in Mike’s name by his family: Michael T. Keefe Youth Aviation Fund.
